1. The troop or activity must reserve the shooting sports area by submitting a short-term reservation form to the council. The application for shooting sports area rental can be submitted at the same time.
2. The rifles and archery equipment may only be used in the shooting sports area and during the times specified on this application. The rifles or archery equipment can be checked out by the Camp Ranger or Campmaster by the certified instructor immediately before the shooting sports activity and must be returned at the end of the shooting sports activity.
3. There will be a $75.00 charge per four(4) hours for use of the rifle range. There will be a $50.00 charge per four(4) hours for use of the archery range. At the end of the shooting sport activity, all equipment will be cleaned. The Camp Ranger or Campmaster will inspect and return to camp inventory. Unit or activity will be responsible for any damage to equipment.
4. Only a certified instructor can operate the shooting sports area. For rifle programs, the certification must be given by the National Rifle Association or BSA National Camp School. For archery programs, the instructor has to provide proof of competency in archery instruction. A copy of current certification must be submitted with application.
5. Only Patriots’ Path Council owned rifles can be used on camp shooting sports ranges.
