Operation Zero Postponed Due to Unusual Weather

The weather conditions at Sabattis Adventure Camp have been very unusual this winter. Normally at this time of year there is plenty of snow to launch a very successful Operation Zero and other winter related events. In light of recent weather patterns and the forecast for Martin Luther King weekend at SAC, we are postponing Operation Zero until the weekend of February 18-20 (Presidents Day weekend). This decision did not come without heavy discussion and thought, but in the interest of the safety of the participants and the overall success of the event, we feel that this is the best solution. We understand that this may cause some disruption of plans, but the safety of our Scouts and the quality of the experience are our top priorities. We would like registered participants to join us on the rescheduled weekend. If you cannot, you will receive a 100% refund for program fees paid. Please respond to John.Dorn@scouting.org if you will be joining us for OpZero in February or if you would like a refund.
