Abenaki

Abenaki is actually four separate crew sites for the exclusive use of participants in the Adirondack trek program.  The sites are located near the trek center and Bear Pond. Two sites have a large grassy field with wooded areas. The others are more wooded. Each crew site includes 6 canvas wall tents on wooden platforms with cots. Group cooking gear is available upon request. Abenaki is used by most trek participants while they are in base camp. The sites are assigned upon arrival at camp. If your troop is spending the week at Sabattis Adventure Camp, trek participants often stay in their troop's campsite.
