Delaware is a large wooded lakefront site with a small field and campfire ring in the center. It is the last of three lakefront sites located southwest of the Scoutcraft program area and the youth shower house. Delaware has both flat and sloped areas. Five wooden tent platforms are provided in some of the sloped areas of the campsite. Delaware is one of the farthest sites from the commissary, but seclusion, a lakefront peninsula and great views of Bear Pond and Bug Island make Delaware one of our most popular sites. It is the closest site to council point and about a 10 minute walk to base camp.
