First Year Boy Scout Day Camp

A program for younger Scouts moving up from Webelos, Boy Scout Day Camp is only open to Scouts 10 1/2 to 11 years old. Limited to 25 Scouts per week with a maximum attendance of two weeks.

The goal of Boy Scout Day Camp is to give younger Scouts a positive initial experience with summer camp.

Outdoor skills and age appropriate merit badges are available for the ranks leading up to First Class.

First Year Boy Scout Day Camp is held at Mt. Allamuchy Scout Reservation in Stanhope. Bus transportation is  available to Mt. Allamuchy. Lunch is provided. Every boy can have a fun summer camp experience that prepares him for a future resident camp opportunity.
