Watchung Cub Scout Day Camp is one of two Cub Scout day camps for boys going into 2nd through 5th grade. The camp is nestled in the scenic 1,945 acre Watchung Reservation in Mountainside, NJ.  Watchung Day Camp has been providing a high quality Cub Scout program for over thirty five years. Bus transportation is provided from locations throughout Union, Somerset, SE Morris, Essex, and northern Middlesex counties.

Camp operates for six weeks from July 1st through Aug 9th 2013. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:45am - 4:00pm. Come for one or more weeks!  We offer an action packed day with lots of fun and some learning too. Watchung Cub Scout Day Camp stresses Scouting values and provides a fun and safe summer program for boys. Our experienced staff are all youth protection trained. We maintain a staff to boy ratio of 1:4 or better.

Go back to medieval times this summer for a Magic Land of Knights and Wizards. Make themed crafts, catapults and noodle joust with your fellow knights. Each week will have a new focus area. We are continuing to improve your favorite programs and we will have a few new suprises too. 

Registration and Fees

Online and mail registration is now available. The fee schedule includes discounts for multiple weeks and siblings. Register by March 31st and save $40 per week with the early bird fee! Join us 4th of July week and save an additional $60. Camp is open July 4th.
