Well, Boy Scout Day Camp may be perfect for you!

What is Boy Scout Day Camp?
Boy Scout Day Camp at Winnebago is a regular Boy Scout summer camp program for all Scouts. Camp runs Monday to Friday from July 6 through July 31. Scouts can come one or more weeks, or they can come for selected days or half days. Just tell us when you want to come.  Bring your own lunch, or purchase meals in advance at the 7:00 Tuesday evening pre-camp orientation held at Winnebago.  You can also arrive early for breakfast or stay late for dinner, it is your choice. You provide your own transportation, as bus service is not available to Winnebago. Cost is only $235 per week or $50 per day or $25 per half day plus meals.

Day Camp for Younger Scouts
Day Camp for younger Scouts moving up from Webelos gives the Scout a positive initial experience with summer camp. Scouts participate in our Dan Beard program program which focuses on outdoor skills and appropriate advancement activities for the ranks leading up to First Class. The program includes basic swimming instruction, and age appropriate merit badges.  Coming for a full week or more is ideal for first year Scouts.

Day Camp for Older Scouts
Day Camp for the older Scout focuses on Merit Badges, i.e. completing partials, work on advancement or just utilize the aquatics area or the shooting sports area to hone skills. If you are not yet First Class, you can also work on advancement requirements from Tenderfoot to First Class. Older Scouts often come to Day Camp because they have evening activities or a job that doesn't let them stay overnight.  Coming for a full week or more is ideal, but you if you are just trying to finish up a merit badge partial, or want an afternoon of boating, you are welcome to come for a shorter period of time. If you are looking for an overnight resident camp experience, be sure to visit the link on the left for our Camp Troop.
