Great Outdoors Week at Winnebago

One week only – July 25 to 31, 2010
A bargain week of FUN at Resident Camp - Fees as low as $200
For ALL boys ages 11-17 - Scouts and Non-Scouts Welcome

 

Choose from any of our Special Programs
Water TrampolineLakeside and River - Fun on the water.  A week of swimming, canoeing, sailing, boating, sail boarding, kayaking, paddle boats and fun on the water trampoline.  Try the Mile Swim if you are up to it. Sleep on cots in wall tents on wooden platforms. A Delaware River tubing trip is included. Participants must pass a swim check.

Equestrian Experience - A week of horseback riding, trail rides and equestrian education.  Daily rides, plus take advantage of all other program areas.

Science and Nature - A week of science, nature and fun.  Activities include a nature hike, bird watching and fishing.  The Ecology Building contains live fish and reptiles for study and observation.  Daily activities involve nature demonstrations and experiments to teach participants about the natural world.  A museum or mine field trip is included. Night Owls - During the day

Traditional Winnebago - Take advantage of all the program areas Winnebago has to offer.  Choose what you want to do and when you want to do it.  Sleep on cots in wall tents on wooden platforms. Boy Scouts can also work on Merit Badge advancement.

Campers can participate in all camp programs including:

Waterfront - Swimming, boating, sailing, canoeing, kayaking and the water trampoline.
Shooting sports - Rifle, shotgun, muzzle loaders and archery.  Learn or improve your skills
Movie nights - Catch Great Outdoors and other movies in our dining hall

Campwide activities - Includes a scavenger hunt, campwide games and a variety of hikes for all abilities!

 

 

Handicraft - Leatherwork, crafts, basketry, wood carving
Sports - Basketball, volleyball, fishing, bouldering
Mountain Biking - Great trails throughout the reservation

Miss Winnie - Pontoon boat rides and fishing trips
Merit Badges - Boy Scouts can work on almost any Merit Badge

 

Fee for the week is only $375 - Discounts are Available
 
  • $25 discount if you register by April 30th
  • Use the $75 coupon below - good for Great Outdoors Week only.
  • Additional $75 off for Boy Scouts who camp another week in 2010 at any PPC summer camp - Winnebago, Somers or Sabattis.  This can be with your troop or as an individual.
  • Additional fees apply for the following: Lakeside ($50), Equestrian Experience ($275) and Science/Nature ($25)
